Sounak Chakraborty, Class XI B (Science) prepared a model of Bacteria to demonstrate the structure of the organism. Green sulfur bacteria are nonmobile (except Chloroherpeton thalassium, which may glide) and are capable of anoxygenic photosynthesis. They are autotrophs, which utilize reverse tricarbolic acid cycle to perform carbon fixation. Green sulfur bacteria have been found in depths of up to 145 metres in the Black Sea.
