Adamas International School has, as its ethos and its lifeline, an unflinching determination to ‘give till it hurts’, caring has always been primary focus. With great enthusiasm in mind, our children have actively conducted the following activities
INTERNATIONAL PEACE POSTER MAKING COMPETITION
The Interact Club of Adamas International School organized a poster making competition on WORLD PEACE. The objective was to inculcate the idea of world peace in the young budding minds of the nation.
SAEVUS (Wild Life Quiz (9.12.2017)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School hosted the Seavus Eco Achiever’s Quiz along with the Rotary Club of Calcutta Yuvis and the Inner wheel Club. The quiz was an attempt to make children aware of the environment and wildlife.
HEALTH AWARENESS Dengue Rally (09/11/17)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School took out a rally and created awareness among the public about the deadly and rapidly spreading disease, Dengue in the months of October-November. The students carried banners and slogans, urging people to keep their surroundings clean and free of mosquito breeding sources.
Visit to orphanage - 29/07/17
The Interact Club of Adamas International School visited a girls’ orphanage to spend time with them. The members played games with them and distributed sweets among them.
Blanket Donation at ADYAPITH (24.12.17)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School visited Adyapith and donated blankets to the children there in the month of December.
Food Donation Drive (15.04.18)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School donated money for the distribution of free food at Nimtalaghat street to the unfortunate. The members went there and distributed the food.
Distribution of Dog Food (28.04.18)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School donated 25 kgs of Rice, antibiotics, gauge bandage, etc for the dogs of the PAWS SHELTER accompanied by PAWS Secretary Lopamudra Dassharma Basu. The members spent some quality time with the dogs.
Fruit Juice Distribution (07.05.18)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School made and distributed Rasna to the Security guards ,traffic police and other workers in the Rathtala area to relieve them of the scorching summer heat of Kolkata.
Plantation of Saplings (27.04.18)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School planted saplings in the school premises and took a step towards the protection of the environment looking forward to a ‘Clean and Green India’.
New Clothes Drive (19.09.17)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School donated new clothes to intellectually disabled children and spent a lot of time with them at Daya Dan (the missionaries of Charity).
Self Defense (22.04.18)
Owing to the increasing number of crimes on women, the Interact Club of Adamas International School went to Gobinda Home and taught the girls some basic self-defense techniques. The members were accompanied by Mriganko Sir, a Martial arts teacher of our school.
Visit to an old age home (09.09.17)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School visited the ‘Bholananda Old Age Home’ at Sodepur and had spent time with the people there.
Book Donation Drive (02.05.18)
The Interact Club of Adamas International School went to the Nabatara NGO and distributed books of elementary school and spent some time with the children there.
