                                   International Yoga Day - 2020

                                                               The  International  Yoga  Day  (IYD)  was
                                                               celebrated worldwide to make people aware
                                                               of the benefits of Yoga. The theme for this year
                                                               (IYD  –  2020)  was  “Global  Health:  Stay  at
                                                               Home”. As the whole world is being affected
                                                               by  the  Covid-19  pandemic,  to  keep  people
                                                               safe and to contain the spread of the Covid-19
                                                               disease it was decided to stay at home.
                                                               This year, our School celebrated International
                                                               Yoga Day online – Live. Around 17 students
                                                               took part. Each of them demonstrated different
                                                               Asanas (postures) along with their benefits.
                                                               The word ‘Yoga” means Union of Body, Mind
                                                               and Soul. Therefore, by practicing Yogasana
                                                               and Pranayama one can stay healthy, youthful
                                                               and stress-free.
